Made in the area of Bahia in Brazil, near Feira de Santana, our baskets are handmade, braided by women gathered in a community. Home based, those women weave the corn fiber with passion so as to give life to these pieces faithful to carnival spirit. Caroline wishes to pay tribute to that art passed down from mother to daughter. Created in our italien Workshop, its removable multicolored leather pouch is a symbol of the mix of cultures that define Caroline De Marchi's DNA.

We recommend to always gard the bag protected from humidity in its original dustbag and filled with stuffing-use silk paper (or a clean t-shirt, cloth but never use newspaper).
