Caroline De Marchi has selected an exceptional venue to show her newest Fall/Winter collection: The Pagoda.
Built by Ching-Tsai Loo in 1925, the beauty and refinement of the building’s singular decor are timeless. A subtle melding of East and West, the Pagoda plunges visitors into the mysterious atmosphere of a 1930s smoking lounge, a source of inspiration for Caroline De Marchi.
The designer’s eclectic style is vividly apparent in this collection with complementary and contrasting styles conveying a fusion of cultures. The Joy and Cubo clutches, accentuated by lacquered and metallic details, exemplify a collection characterized by mirrored effects and the play of light. Synonymous with modern glamour, the Daly and the Gala feature soft materials and unique finishes. Overflowing with charm and sophistication, this original collection is a pleasure for the senses: it is the handbag as a work of art.
